Dogs at Barford
Go backBeing country folk, naturally, we’re huge dog lovers. However, if you are considering bringing furry friends, please read the following:
We charge £75 per dog, with a limit of two very well behaved dogs..
- Dogs are not allowed on the sofas or chairs, nor upstairs or in the bedrooms.
- We suggest dogs sleep in the utility room, and should not be left alone in the house.
- Please keep dogs under close supervision; the garden fence is not dog proof, plus Barford is right on the South West Coast Path, next to the sea, which can be rough and rippy, while out the front there’s a blind corner on the road.
- Please make sure you collect, bag up and dispose of your dog's poo responsibly.
- And please, no loose dog poo bags in the wheelie bins; the bin men pick out all the large tied bin bags, so loose rubbish will not be collected.
- During peak season many beaches prohibit dogs. However, Wanson Bay, our closest beach, and Black Rock Beach at Widemouth Bay, allow dogs all year around, as do most National Trust beaches.
- Check out Visit Cornwall's website to find dog friendly beaches.
