Valerian

Charming and characterful, and featuring beautiful ancient beams and exposed trusses, Valerian is the oldest room in The Cottage, with one wall nearing 500 years old. It’s a strikingly quirky, romantic space with interiors composed of a mix of old and new. In addition to the off-the-chart comfy king size bed, with goose feather and down duvet plus 400 thread count Egyptian cotton linen, you’ll find a lovely ensuite with free-standing roll top bath and Hansgrohe rainfall shower.

The room also has underfloor heating, and includes super-soft swimming towels, bathrobes, bath towels and flannels, plus Amphora Aromatics X Tregulland & Co’s bath products, a magnifying makeup mirror and a hairdryer.
