The Lake & Grounds

Stunning and sprawling, Tregulland is blessed with 16-acres of private land in a beautiful valley. From the Pool House through The Barn and out onto the terrace overlooking the valley, there you’ll find landscaped lawns with plenty of seating areas dotted here and there, plus firepits and BBQs. And from there, the land slopes away to wilder spaces: a small, mature woodland with native trees, a stream, and a stunningly beautiful one-acre fishing lake.

There’s trails aplenty (including our beloved Nature Trail Treasure Hunt), a flower meadow with huge standing stones and endless viewpoints, plus the area is home to incredible wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for swifts, swallows, and house martins; kestrels, peregrines, skylarks, buzzards, badgers and bats…

A gem for experienced anglers, The Lake is not appropriate for swimming as its well-stocked with fish including carp, brown trout, rudd and roach. Click here for fishing info.
