We cannot wait to welcome you to Blackbird. And, of course, we want your stay to be as plain sailing as possible. Below are a few simple pointers and requests. You’ll also find a copy of our guest information here and on The Boat.
Arrival and departure: Check in is strictly 3pm and checkout 10am; we need the time to return Blackbird to pristine condition for our next guests.

Please note:
We are surrounded by farmland with livestock and wildlife is abundant, so fireworks are strictly forbidden, as are paper sky lanterns and wax candles. We supply a few battery powered candles for you
- Weather: Whenever you leave Blackbird, please always close all windows and doors..
- BBQs: Please let us know if you’d like to use the BBQs, and please bring your own charcoal and firelighters. We provide cleaning equipment and ask you to leave BBQs as clean as you find them.

Let Us Know:
Our houses are meticulously cleaned and all the equipment is checked between each set of guests so that we know everything is perfect for your stay. If there is anything amiss, or if there are any breakages or damages during your stay please email/send photos immediately to help@tregulland.co.uk
- Departure: You must depart by no later than 10am, as we need the time to return the house to a pristine condition, ready for our next guests.
- Beds: There’s no need to strip beds; simply pull back the duvet to let the bed air and our cleaning team will take care of the rest.
- Kitchens: Please remove ALL leftover food and drink and any waste from the kitchen NB: please DO NOT put large amounts of alcohol or milk down the sink, as it disrupts the sewage system. If you can’t take it with you, leave it in the fridge and we’ll dispose of it.
- Bins: Please put all tied black bin bags in the bin by the Boat House
- Recycling: Recycling can be left in the named recycling bins under the outdoor seating on the aft deck
- Security: Please ensure all windows and external doors are locked shut before leaving; the weather can swiftly get very wild
